They were not the only ones . Earlier that day Wolferin's family took us to Varna for sightseeing, and we nearly melted, but it was well worth it It was so hell hot, we couldn't see much from Varna. But may be the next time we meet. we'll have much time for a walk. Everybody has right of an opinion. According to me, comparing bands is meaningless, it is a very subjective matter. I very rarely talk and write about this questions, because many people hardly accept different opinion, but for likes and dislikes I listen to my heart and my inner sense. Ah, well I don't first remember the hot weather (though I kant deny it was so, hehe..)..I did enjoy the talks (plus I got the chance to chat more with Battlemage on many topics ), the walks and gods, the food! I don't care the weather if the company is best you can have. I agree with that. I relate preferences with the same reasons. And since it's about the gigs of last year, I can only say that the fest from Kavarna was the best from last year for me too. For lots of reasons (think I told about KK in summer, so will mention sth else now), including the one that I was the only one in my group that was expecting the thrashy night with impatience and did some singing along (Mighty Croc, I sang for you too Phobia with Mille - hope you read this ) and dancing (yeah, don't look bad, thrash is danceable , especially with someone who indulge your crazyness). Again, would be a lot to say...great memories.

I do like trash but not the German trash (except Kreator). what a nice memories, really @ wolferin: ok, you win! drinks are on me on sunday! ;D

Actually Kreator was my main interest, although Destruction was not far either(first time I saw them live), and anyone liking or not german thrash or Kreator, etc, and that was present can tell Mille Petrozza had the crowd! They really did have a long playlist, but not even a second of tiredness, nor technical mistake, nor anything ,not even a flaw in their performance...and a restless Mille the whole time. Sth funny occured to me: during KK gig we were in front with Wolferin (3rd or 4th row), Noncho was in front, you were in front... forum members in all strategic points of crowd. ;D

Hmm my concerts in 2010, lets modd that to: My gigs in late 2010, since worked my ass off from January to August = No gigs nor concerts for me Finntroll - 09.09.2010 Tampere / Klubi My first Finntroll gig ever, so it was really nice to see them play, even that Klubi wasn't full, only hand full of ppl, but still at first row the atmosphere was awsome. Enslaved and Dimmu Borgir - 14.10.2010 Tampere / Pakkahuone I must say that Enslaved was a little dissapointing, after couble songs they made a new soundcheck o.O I guess they didn't got it right at the first time, but still was very happy to see them live. Dimmu was allso a little dissapointing, not because the music was bad, they played like BM gods but because Mustis and Vortex were kicked of from the band I so miss Vortex's clean voice. But again all on all, the gig was great, got again first row place, its easy for a small guy like me ;D and I made sure that those horns were flying Kiuas and Turisas - 29.10.2010 Tampere / Pakkahuone Missed Kiuas, since friend of mine were late So can't comment on that, but Turisas gig was over the top, never had so much fun. Pit, wall of death and dancing "piiri pieni pyörii" (The Circle Goes Around)!! Pakkahuone was full with folk metal maniaks. And the booze & beer flow at the drinking side of the "room" Minors and those who don't drink were at the other side. And for the 2011 gigs... I must say that this year will be awsome, so many good gigs at the spring and much to come at the summer! I can hardly wait

The year was damn shitty, and there were not a lot of the gigs really, though I don't write them all down in my gig notebook (as I used to do), so I can remember them all. I've been on several thrash and grindcore / brutal death festivals this year, and on some solo gigs - like Dying Fetus, Sadist and so on. So:
The best were: damn Korpiklaani, of course. The band would not agree with me, because there were a quite shitty promotion and big ticket price: the gig was booked by some Finnish guys, and it seems they simply don't know how we live here in Mordor Russia ;D so there were less than 100 fans, I guess so. But anyway, we've damn really enjoyed it, and the only crappy moment was when I were late for the subway and had to walk for 2 hours through the snow to get home.
Also I'd remember two more gigs: Marduk and Sodom. Just because they are damn great bands, and their gigs always deliver well.
And the most crappiest one was a gig in January, where I went with my old comrade Pickles and his girlfriend. There was a damn crappy fest, and that band played some kind of a boring rock with female voice... but their vocalist girl was damn impossibly beautiful.
Also I were disappointed of Belphegor - they sound quite uninteresting live, and theit bassist has bought some Poison CDs in our mag before the show... yeah, the gay one Poison, not the one from Germany. And Vader, but that's because theit set was very short - only 10 songs, and they haven't perform most of the songs that I like.
Yay! Now my soul can rest in peace...

Yeah, better that. I've drank only a few beers since the first week of January, and I feel uncomfortable. The mosquitoes who try to bite me don't die immediately of the alcohol in my blood, and this makes me feel out of defense...
You haven't lost a lot about that - it's great, but only 10 songs... No "This Is The War", no "Raining Blood".

Croc: Impossibly beautiful female vocalists are hired on shitty bands for a reason, even if their music is impossibly terrible one still wishes to stay just to stare. Marduk and Sodom! That's awesome! And as for the rest, whether the sound was shitty or less than best songs were played at least you get some semi-frequent shows there! I have no ability to travel thanks to being a poor student, so sadly I have no shows to report from 2010. Oh, does my nephews singing kid songs at their school count? Because if so I was at 2 last year.
