about surma: the vocals are in some parts very violent. It is a good change! Now we know that jonne is capable to sing that kind of voices!

Ok, all you "surmalovers", is that only my problem: the chorus on that song sounds to me as "kirki" chorus but played slower?

Kirki and Surma a little rezemble in the recitative, but as a whole sound different. Surma makes me think about Vesilahden Verajilla, but as a spirit or notion. Don't know what to say more, except - Surma rules (in direct and undirect meaning)! ;D

wolferin:I agree.Intro resembles Vesilahden Verajilla obviously.Sometimes I feel relaxed while intro is being played. But then I feel as if I have an infinitive energy to do everything . korpialen:I think that vocals are excellent. When I listen Surma,I almost burst into song instinctively ;D .

Anyone else noticed that end of Lonkkaluut is exactly same as the beginning of Moonsorrow's Tulimyrsky (about 3:47) song? Jonne have once said that Moonsorrow is one of his favorite bands, so could this be kinda of tribute?

Indeed, that sounds pretty similar. I guess that's by chance but who knows... both great songs anyway

Hm. I'm not a real fan of the new album I must say. But "Surma" is quite cool.

Mmm... is really hard to pick just three, I`m tempted to name the entire album. I`ll choose Lonkkaluut first cause it`s the song that blasted my head from the first time. Another one is Surma, that song is a fuckin masterpiece! and a third one... Korvesta Liha, I have to love it, I`s been stucked in my mind since the first time! Aaaaand, I didn`t vote for it, but I love Tuopi Oltta as much as I love those ones!
