Hi guys! There's an equal thread of Karkelo out there and I'm quite interested, what your opinion on the Ukon Wacka-album looks like. So, tell us your three favorite songs and why you like them. I'm sure you're listening to this album over and over again since February 4th and you know the tracks pretty well already. Cheers! PS.: I left "Iron Fist" out because it's only on the limited edition. However, feel free to comment it if you like to. ;D

1. Surma - a fantastic, surrealistic song, which leads you between two worlds. 2. Tuoppi Oltta 3. Louhen Yhdeksäs Poika 2 and 3 have dynamic, vivid, easy to remember melodies. ------------- 4. Vaarinpolkka - I like the instrumentals of Korpiklaani. 5. Koivu Ja Tähti - because of the message in it - whatever happens, hope must guide you.

For me: now that's real korpiklaani album! They fckn play as hell, everybody! I'm happy there are enough fast songs this time - the album is about 45 min long and that tells a lot I vote for #1,2,3 - that's only because i have the right to vote only for 3 songs #1 - a hell of a start for the album, this Matson blasting makes me go wild! Matson, now you are talking! Where the fk you've been man? And the violin solo - at 2.30 - only with snare drum acomp: MAD! After this song one knows: guys are back in town, no one gets out alive! #2 - for me that's the real "party" song on that album, not tequila. And another violin solo! Perkele! #3 - i've heard that few months ago on that very site. Now, when i've heard it again it was as i've been listening to this song thousand times! It's briliant, it's real hit. And that chorus (again Matson blasting) it is a plague, i can't get rid of it. All other songs a briliant for me. This album's full of energy. But: if I am to choose only one song: Vaarinpolka! Everyone of them plays as hell, and band sounds as a fkn killer machine! So, as they (used to) say in Sweeden:"thank you for the musik", guys! I wish you this album to become platinum in every fckn country all over the world.

Ukon Wacka is the most balanced album so far in my opinion and that is the only thing I "missed" on the forerunners. So overall I might say already now that Ukon Wacka is the "best" Korpiklaani-album so far. Concerning my vote: Louhen Yhdeksäs Poika and Tuoppi Oltta are clearly my absolute favorite tracks on this release, the first one is a perfect opener, I like every second of this song, same for Tuoppi Oltta, just the whole song is a perfect one (like especially the flute-solo ) I'm not sure about number three yet because - as I already told - Ukon Wacka is very balanced and there are several tracks in the run: Päät Pois Tai Hirteen - I really adore the start of the song - then there's Tequila (just a "normal" party-song, felicitous once more), Ukon Wacka (as a slower track, for me not as good as "Gods On Fire" on Korven Kuningas though) and Surma (great intro and vocals!!) Finally I voted for Tequila because it's the song that is in my head all the time since last weekend

I votet for Lonkkaluut, Ukon Wacka and Surma because this were the first songs that remained in my ears. Now since I have listend to the album I don't know how many times since Saturday I could also take any other song. I didn't expect very much especially because "Karkelo" was a bit disappointing to me. But I'm very happy with "Ukon Wacka". That's exactly what I want to hear from Korpiklaani. Great album

I voted for Koivu Ja Tähti, Surma and Lonkaluut
On every album I have one song I instantly fall in love with(love at first hearing) on this album that's Koivu Ja Tähti.
What I love in Surma is that it begins with one instrument and other intruments join in, making the song to a whole and that makes it a really dynamic song, think it would also be a good concert opener beginning slowly and moves further in the song to a faster energetic pace which is commonly found during a KK concert.
Lonkaluut: Like the vibe this song gives me

I voted Päät pois tai hirteen, Vaarinpolkka and Tuoppi Oltta And here is why: Päät pois tai hirteen is my favorite of these 3, it just hit me. The lyrics are great, they tell a "normal" story about unlucky Finnish guy. And the melodia/music is just great! It makes me want to party Vaarinpolkka was second, since it fills me up with energy. Can't help my self, but hearing this song my leggs start to "dance" and I feel like I have to find a pit to go into Tuoppi Oltta was the first song that I heard from this album and it has been one of my favorites ever since

1. Päät Pois Tai Hirteen - lyrics are just perfect, and Jonne's voice fits awesome in this. 2. Ukon Wacka - Tuomari Nurmio is great, and composition is awesome. 3. Tuoppi Oltta - just really great song of cold beers and hot women

HI:) I love Korpiklaani's music and I waited impatiently for new album. And there is! It's a very good album, my favorite song is Ukon Wacka. Why? Because when I'm listening this song a feel finnish nature, finnish culture and history. Vocal and kantele- it's great!

I only voted for Surma at the moment because I find that general melody of the song is quite a complex and catchy tune which I'm really liking at the moment. Also the way the intro goes from one speed transition to another (to the verse) but I'll be honest it throws me when it goes from fast to slow.
