Jotunspor - Ildkrig
Freshly downloaded, and now listening if I like it or not...
It's quite slow... but not Doom... Just some slow death metal... Got some constant "guitarblanket" over it... constant tone...
I think I like it...

Böhse Onkelz - Deutschland im Herbst A very nice song against Neo-Nazis. The incident that made them write this song were violent riots at the Central Shelter for Asylum Seekers in Rostock, Germany, where some right-wing extremists first threw stones and bashed every stranger that they saw. Then Neo-Nazis from all over Europe came there, had severe fights with the police and set fire in the shelters. A really cruel and senseless happening.... So, this song is about brainless right-wing extremists and the incidents which are severely condamned by them, and it also treats the past of Böhse Onkelz. ina : Thank you! I do speak Polish, and I will try to translate it for you.

And now for something completely different Listening to a band called: Mirror of madness - Nainen (they also have a song called Appelsiinijaffaa... ) This band is a band of kids from around 10-years old. If you listen the sample: mom.fi/MOM%20-%20sample.mp3you would never suspect that... and here is a very nice video too, sound quality is not so great: mom.fi/video/index.html

Teräsbetoni - Taivas lyö tulta
Teräsbetoni... what shall I say... finnish power metal. Very catchy tune used during the WC Ice Hockey in Finland if I'm not totally mistaken..

Tharaphita - Hullusesse Tharaphita is good Estonian metal band, which combines the sounds of BM into the riffs and melodies of the 80's traditional heavy metal - with pagan lyrics. This is one of the "nostalgic" bands for me, as I've learned Estonian six years ago along listening this band and Metsatöll. They have released a new album, Iidsetel sünkjatel radadel (On Dark Ancient Paths), from which I've listened much lately. You can order your own copy from HERE

Týr - Excavation
We all know týr probably... (if different: go shame yourself!!)
I decided to go to Týr and Heidevolk gig after all... I actually don't have very much time for it, nor money... So I told people I wouldn't go, but I kindof HAD to... So I'm having a Týr-flood at the moment... listening mainly Týr... And Excavation is just one of the many great songs... easy listening... Good melody, nice guitarplay...

Tyr rules!! listened it today and also Metsätöll, a great band too!
But now i am listening Olavi Virta, who died in 1972, so this music is quite old in way. But this man has a great voice, and i love those old fashioned songs, songs like Tapsa Rautavaara sang. They really have something for me.
Listening to 'Hopeinen Kuu' now, is this about a birch? Just had Metsäkukkia (forest flower, in Dutch: woudbloem).

Ship of Fools - In the Wake Of Ship of Fools is an awesome pychedelic electronic band. They don't have a vocalist but they use samples from movies. I heard a sample in a SoF song that I had also heard in a Thom Yorke (Radiohead) song, so I looked it up and watched the movie, Jacob's Ladder and discovered an excellent movie along the way. "So, if you're frightened of dying and... and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth." The lead member of the Fools, Les Smith plays (played?) keyboard in Anathema, and spent three years with Cradle of Filth (as the vicar) during the Cruelty and the Beast period.
