Good: Finished knitting the sock I started some days ago. My first sock ever took many months and asking a lot of people, but now it seems I can do it on my own also. Actually knitting is pretty addictive, once you start it. Bad: Difficult to get a flat in Hungary, at least without being on the spot. Also, since everyone seems to be on a holiday now, all the paper stuff considering my internship and my bf's exchange is going slowly (not to say nothing is happening at all). Sometimes one could start to panic, thinking we are supposed to move there in a bit over a month and nothing is arranged Good: Finally got out what I had on my mind for almost a week. Why do I always torture myself that much, if sometimes all might go better than expected anyway?

Why do I always torture myself that much, if sometimes all might go better than expected anyway? You know what they say right ;D? Everything that gets arranged last minute is the best, even though things get quite stressy those times nothing beats the relief you're feeling afterwards when it lands on it's feet perfectly. Guess you just feel the urge to resort to self-torture since no one else seems to do that job for you. Good/Bad: Has been a long time since I last posted in the forum, tomorrow seems like a good day to begin posting on a more regular basis again

"They" may say what they want... personally I rather have things arranged in time, if it happens last minute I don't even have time to feel relieved ;D Well, it's not like I torture myself less in that sense if someone else does it, too

Looking forward seeing Russkaja live So, I dunno what's wrong with my coffee, but I swear I read ''(...) and watch free pigs'' and was about to be happy for you. ;D Naturally, I'm now unhappy for you! Good: started lately to get better at clothes making and this new project I got on the go is very exciting. Also, because I feel good about the sewing machine I have now. Bad: having to deal with bureaucrasy, which mingles with matters of the heart. The world shouldn't be constructed this way. Ah, well, I'm not afraid of the battle, just wish it wasn't the case, as it brings such dark moods at times. Extremely funny: dealing with winter in Southern Hemisphere. This is NOT winter, this is Finnish summer more like. ;D EDIT: Even funnier: these adds which try to sell me a vacuum cleaner I already have.

Helped my friend moving to her new place all weekend long (fri-mon) it was a lot of fun, new house was only 2 streets behind her old place so ofc we moved all the furniture and stuff out the dutch way: "Borrowing" shopping carts from the local supermarket and rolling it down the streets full of boxes. As you can see here Monday was also her housewarming party and she managed to get a band playing for free in exchange for a hot meal and a place to sleep Have 3 videos uploaded onto YT

Bad: having to deal with bureaucrasy, which mingles with matters of the heart. The world shouldn't be constructed this way. Couldn't agree more... it's insane how much of our valuable life time (and nerves, for that matter) we waste on those things Good: Looks like I can study some more Hungarian when I'm doing my internship, which I'm glad about... you just get so much more out of an experience abroad if you learn some of the language, too. Bad: Still no luck with the flat... I never thought it would be that difficult, considering there seem to be so many empty apartments in Szeged, but either there's no reply or they don't rent them out for just a few months. Bad: Even though I've only been looking forward and been excited about it so far, but now I began to realise that we won't be here the whole autumn, which I like very much with its melancholic mood and colours. Since that got through to my mind and that we're leaving soon and won't come back before Christmas I somehow started to feel horribly homesick, even if we're still home Bad: Yesterday noticed that one of my guinea pigs has a huge swollen toe. It doesn't seem to be painful, and he's walking normally, but still it looks so bad that I think we need a vet to have a look at it.

Greetings all, after a long time away! Life often has other plans than we make for ourselves... I hope all I remember here are well and good, and all the best to you whom I have not yet met! Bad today: After some contemplation, nothing worth complaining about I guess. Good today: Was able to get some much-needed work done, and was given the opportunity to help a friend. And listened to some Korpiklaani. Be well!!

@ Socke: Hope I don't sound paranoid, but there are so many direct and indirect forms of control with which we have to put up in our lives, all of us, that some days I'm happy it's not worse. Either way, as you well know, *hit happens, so I propose to simply toss it out of the way, haha, i.e. thanks, I'll try to make the bets of these interferences, while feeding bureaucrazy beast with papers. In the hope it chokes. ;D You keep your chin up, things could be a LOT worse for yourself as well. iarnvidia: Greetings and glad to see you. How's the spinning there, what news of crafts or song you bring? My good: it's quite a list I'm grateful for. As for the bad, I'm trying as I mentioned above, to make the conversion and turn it into something not too bad to deal with. After all, there's health, love and people I care for and care for me, so why complaining? Also good: I managed in all the madness to do some courses and finishing the last one in 4 days. But I need to write a paper, so I'll stop roaming on the forum. Either way, more to come soon.

Greetings, Tiina! I have been spinning a lot of wool; also have built myself some ambitiously large peglooms with the intention of weaving some heavy rag rugs. The largest is floor to ceiling; it should weave well, but warping it up requires sitting on the floor with it lying across half of the room, and fighting the cats for the ball of warp twine. Am also weaving a test piece of "shaggy cloak" of the sort that was exported from Iceland many years ago. It seems to be a forerunner of rya in technique, and I imagine this has become painfully dull to read about. Went to see Wintersun last weekend, who by some stroke of magic actually played in my town and in a venue four blocks from my house! I walked there and back. If TYR or Korpiklaani ever plays that venue, I will invite them over for dinner first. I hope your paper goes well, and best to you on your finishing classes!

That sounds great and wish you good luck with it. We have some carpets still in the family , but they were made with this kind of thing www.scarisoara.ro/potential/box/static_files/razboi_tesut.jpg ....sadly, sometimes in my teens old women gave up on doing all things necessary in the house on that and younger ones didn't learn the craft, me included. But some people still do it, thank gods. Anyway, I digress. Haha, but cats should have their fun too. On the contrary, it's exciting and makes me happy that people immerse in older ways of living and doing things...like to learn: I'm currently in the Viking clothes making wannabe position (hope it makes sense) and I am interested in anything craftsy anyway. Ha, that's more than convenient! Thank you very much, I have finished that paper late last night and feels good to kick off that worry. Another happy thing is sniffing earlier some of the chopped woods we got Gran for winter. I just love the scent of freshly cut wood. Also, in my attempt of being a normal person, I have watched like most people do...a series. And no dear friends, it's not Vikings , nor Firefly.....this time's Gavin and Stacey, which results in me using Welsh accent , or at least some words...which is so fun and lovely! Or better yet, it's ''tidy!!' and ''lush!''. ;D Hope everyone's good and had a fine weekend. I'm exhausted.

@ Susi: browse older threads in this forum, will certainly cheer you up. I also recall, that at worst times in my life, I played Korpiklaani and it helped/ healed me quite some. Good: I'm almost ready with my personal webpage where I can show pictures and more stuff Now that, I cannot wait to see. Good: I'm posting. Also, a couple of hours back I took an important decision, that is giving up on some activities which only suck my energy and make me worry too much. It affects my health and creativity, so to helvete with it. Already feeling happy, although quite sickish. Good and emotional: finally dared to ask a favor, which is not something I am keen on doing or like to. Yet by doing it so, I got overwhelmed by the goodness of the people I asked it , so that made me tear. So that enters into bad category.
