@tiina: I'm in the Royal Air Force and I'm not really enjoying my latest job at the moment which is why everything is such a chore to get ready for work.
Good: Had another driving job today which meant I was off camp and away from work Bad: I didnt finish until late and will I get a thank you for doing a good job? No! Good: Just played guitar for 2 hours to chill out, practised Pine woods and journey man and sounding pretty darn good. I need to get a HD video recorder before I put any videos up though!

@olli, Heidevolk is a great group. When I first heard the two male vocals, I was shocked how good sounding are they. I know!! It sounds amazing in Nehalenia. It definatly works Im Actually listening to Heidevolk again but their instrumental Alvermans Wraak. Its amazing how they build on one melody and work it up and the guitar solo is great too!

kuusuru: I meant guitar/instrument Brands as apposed to the look of the intstrument. Eg say that Korpiklaani started to use Fender Squires :/ The vintaged guitars are amazing in their own rights. Jonne's will be vintaged in no time haha

I've been listening to alot of Dalriada Since seeing that its quite popular here and I see why! When I first listened to Hajdutanc I was a bit frightened when she did her death metal style. I think I prefer her just doing the clean vox.

Is it safe for us to stand 20 meters away from you with an apple on our head, or is that position still filled by a strawfilled dummy? Haha Not yet! I've just adjusted to shooting at 15 meters so ask in 3 weeks time. Good: First day at a new work place on camp has been good. The morning was slow as I was learning new places at my base but the afternoon flew by really fast once I got to grip with what I had to do. Good: One of my packages arrived today. Bad: I must iron my uniform now

@tiina: Well I've finally done the deed and I'm liking the general tune of it Ive checked out a few of their other songs and it sounds great. But it hasnt caught me like Heidevolk did for the first time, I'm sorry But I do like it! DALRIADA - Hajdútánc Just seen the official video and I'm really liking how the female and male vox mix at the intro. The violin is great too. I've got to have plenty of violin in my Folk Songs like I need plenty of Jagermeister in my cup!

I did? Damn! Well I feel possibly it was a credited theory. I think you are right there Humppi. ESP guitars are sturdy and road worthy. The amount of gigs they do per year is astonishing and I would dread to think the amount of upkeep they need. I know for a fact that the truss rod would have to be adjusted from one climate to another and that in its self is a pain. I still think that using an ESP guitar is a sign of professional statement. Like would you see Metallica use some cheap guitar brand? As a guitarist I tend to look at the gear the guitarist uses. Its bad I know, but if I see that they have expensive gear then I feel more certain that they are professional. This is more prominent when checking out a new band. Altogether I think its fantastic that as you said, guitar builders are intrested in well known bands and for ESP recruiting Korpiklaani so to speak, they will make even more publicity. However I still want to see a Korpiklaani artist range guitar series haha

@tiina: I still have not listened to the song yet but I will now after- Trivium: Down from the skies I've been slowly getting back into Trivium. They put me off listening to their music when they said they were the next Metallica. But now I'm older when their comment was made I thought it would be wise to rekindle the fire a bit. I just can't seem to get the intro out of my head during the day!

Good: I start work at new part of camp tomorrow. To be honest it feels like the veil has been lifted as a member of the work place is a miserable old man and was relentless at making slanderous remarks about me behind my back. So now I dont have to put up with him anymore! Good: Just finished my 4th archery lesson and I'm slowly improving. Bad: Have to wait another week for my next archery lesson

The paranoid thing was just randomness, we have never actually rehearsed it. It sounded amazing Mr Hitta. I thought perhaps it could be a teaser for things to come. Well all I can do is hope ;D

Oh Jeepers Humppi! Well I think it's because the band is making mega bucks now, so perhaps they decided to upgrade to expensive gear? Saying that, Jonne batters one of his ESP guitars around quite alot haha. He let me play it before a gig and he was showing me the teeth marks on it from where he holds it in his mouth when he gets lost in the music on stage. I was in shock because they are fully licensed ESP guitars and they are like £2500 + each. But he is quite crazy anyway. Cane also has the more expensive version of my LTD Eclipse which does look very nice, but I prefer their older guitars, especially Cane's. But Perhaps when they release their 10th studio album they would have custom ESP guitars with Ukko on the headstock in the similar version of the Amfisound guitars. I would actually start saving up now if Jonne strikes a deal with ESP and he releases his own line of korpiklaani Explorers

Forgive me if this has already been asked some where back in time/ another thread, but here we go. How come Jonne and Cane moved from Amfisound to ESP? I have a possible reason but I'm not sure if I should say it haha and it may be wrong and I'll look more like an Idiot!
