Never tried to introduce Klaani to my parents, usually I listen KK while walking outside, and at home I always turn off the music very fast when parents come to my room (once I didn't succeed in that, and my mom heard Khlyst, the drone doom band with shriek vocals - she thought that this was a music for sadists, and I spent a hour explaining to her that it was avant-garde art ;D). But I know that one of my friend's grandmother is a Korpiklaani fan, and other my friend's father really likes "Northern Fall"

No, my grandmother likes boring crooners... my mum listens to opera, and dad - to classic rock and sometimes disco. Only my little brother (age 9) is a Rammstein fan, he also likes KK and Troll Gnet El

I haven't lived with my parents for a long time, so I don't remember their initial response to Korpiklaani. I know they were probably exposed to them at some point, and I vaguely remember my dad knocking on my door once and asking, "Is that Celtic music with distorted guitars?" I think I may have just laughed.

My mum believes I'm weird for listening to Korpiklaani...but I don't care I think she secretly likes them, because I often catch her whistling Wooden Pints!

My ma likes all kinds of good music, from Sting to heavy metal, and so she finds Korpiklaani to her liking. Not that she listens to it by herself, but she doesn't get migraines when I'm playing it, and that means a lot. My old man, on the other hand, is too dead to care - let the soil of his grave not weight upon him too heavily.

I introduced Korpiklaani to my mum from Wacken live dvd and she liked it. She even went to see klaani's gig when they were palying at local rock festival here. Mum was so happy when they played " happy little boozer " because she shouted "play happy little boozer ! play happy little boozer " all the time
