My mom is comming with me to the Burgfolkfestival 19.08! I´ll be there as well.... so if I see mother and "child", both in Korpiklaani- shirts, I will just give it a try and say "hello"! I'll let her choose from my wardrobe...last time I gave her a metal shirt I got it back after 5 weeks - unwashed! *shakes head* reveresed roles *lol* I'll see which shirt she will take then. My Mom is cool - she wants me to go with her to Edguy as well and i can't escape - nah.. that's fine - I do it for her

Haha, I know that to well... "oh tell me when Eläkeläiset is coming for a gig here"... but anyway, the newest thing for her is Poisonblack ("oh, I'm gonna visit you in Oulu when they play there!" ;D)

My mom was rather delighted...till Jonne began to sing! For her taste, he sounds a little bit too grumpy But when I showed her on a video, that Jonne and the others are laughing most of the time, she seemed relieved

Hm, after I read this some minutes ago I also thought: "Hey you could also show it to your parents." So, when I went downstairs for lunch, I took Tales along this road with me. Arrived, I only said ME:"I have to show you something. It's some of my music" As my mother is very open-minded she let me show. At first she listened and then she made a strange face. My mother:"Aha...hm...and you like that?" ME: "Yes of course, I'll see then live in October, it's the concert Jenny and I want to go to." As she remembered my last After-Concert-Injuries (some partially fractured rips...) she made a even stranger voice. ME: "Don't you like it?" My mother: "No, no...it's just...just the lyrics. Do they sing "Little Boozer"?" I was surprised that she heard the lyrics and that she knew the english word "boozer" I had to look it up in a dictionary when I first heard "Happy little boozer" ME:" You got it, right!" My mother:"Will you drink alcohol there?" ME(smiling):"Of course. You know, I'm old enough and you can't stop me." As she still thinks I'm drinking coke when I go out (I NEVER said that, it's just her image of my...), she didn't like that idea of big man and her little daughter between them drinking alcohol. For doing a joke I added: ME(ironic): "And then I will rip off all my clothes and jump on the stage. That'll be kind of funny." She said nothing. I explained the meaning of irony to her an asked her if she wanted to her a second song (Maybe she would like "Beer beer" )but unfortunately she wasn#t very interested in hearing some more music. Probably it's to heavy for her. I like my mother, but that moments I perceive her as ridiculous... So that was my mothers first contact with Korpiklaani As my father is not interested what I like I won't show Korpiklaani to him... @cerna karkulka: Du kennst ja mei Mutter, kannst dir sicher ihr Gesicht vorstellen...^___^ Kann ja nicht jeder so coole Eltern haben wie du.

I got wooden pints stuck in my parents heads hehe. All they can sing is the chorus and they seem to enjoy it. I think mum tends to like Korpiklaani more than dad but they are very open minded.

carya: joa ... eigentlich is nur meine mum so cool drauf...mein vater tut bloß so ;D Forum language is English, please stick to it, people (or use PMs for German talks)! TX! P.S. But I´m glad you all seem to have so cool parents. My mother wouldn`t even give it a TRY to listen to such music. She can`t stand any loud or fast noise, it just totally annoyes her.
