Ok you won.. ;D It is the same thing concerning my native language german. There's a certain ''decay'' in the niveau of writing and talking to be recognized and that is what frightens me as well. I try to remind some people how the german language originally sounded like and I appreciate old literature very much.. so maybe concerning this point I understand what you intended to say. Especially artists have the possibility to cultivate some more sophisticated whatever.. language and so on than spoken in everyday life.. that's the opinion I represent as well. The native character of languages is in danger all over the world.. certain ( to talk about the finno-ugric language group) languages already suffered from this development of influence in language like liivi and some other which name I have already forgotten. I understand your point quite well I guess

. The native character of languages is in danger all over the world.. certain ( to talk about the finno-ugric language group) languages already suffered from this development of influence in language like liivi and some other which name I have already forgotten. Thats true that the native character of languages is in danger......you can see that that some people dont know what the meaning of a word is...............and that is scaring.......... In the moment i have one favourite song and the lyric is also very cool - it let me thinking........ Its from Insomnium - "Daughter of the Moon" Trail amidst the snow-clad trees, winding is the way Sunless is the path we roam, bitter is the air we breathe Fell is the icy blast, coming from the hills Blowing through my ailing heart, wailing in the emptiness inside Vanished is the light we had, hidden deep in rimy soil Bereft of us the one we cherished, lost for ever our love Still at night I see her figure Flickering on moonlit glades But passing is the hope she_s giving Just a faintest breath of air and she_s gone again The clouds are moving heavily, across the livid sky Yonder the hues are darkening, slowly turning grey to black For the two who stray in dusk, all hope is long since gone Cruel is the winter_s reign, merciless the grasp of despair For what mirth there is left in life for a motherless son What solace in this world for a widower to find Slender the shape in night, unbearable the beauty Shining in the silvery light, watching me with wistful eyes Evanescent this vision, unattainable this illusion But an image in my troubled dreams, hewn out of yearning and rue

Riger- Des Blutes Stimme
Blutes Stimme! Blutes Stimme!
Those lyrics can be easily misunderstood..no reason for not posting them, more a reason to do so.

I love Blackmore's Night. they are Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night, His Wife. their Music is Medieval:
Benzai-Ten
(Blackmore's Night's Fires at Midnight)
in Japanese folklore there is a Story of the seven Gods of Good Fortune. Benzaiten is the only goddess in this group of deities. Legend has it that she is the daughter of a dragon and that she married a dragon king to stop him from eating humans. Her story spans the ages of the 11th century through the 16th century. It is said she is the goddess of music, marriage, happiness, wealth and love. she plays an instrument called the Biwa which is a type of Japanese lute and that she lives at the bottom of Lake Biwa by the medieval city of Kyoto, Japan.
When the sun sets over cherry blossom skies And the twilight fills the air You can see the snow on the mountain tops Through the veil of old Japan... On an island lead by all the ancient ways just a million miles from here And yet it seems like only yesterday that her song rang out so clear...
Sister of the seas Wrapped in silken robes Waves are falling at her feet... Play your haunted songs to charm the dragon king, Winds are calling out your name...
And the times ran fast, further from that place But somehow we are still here You can hear her song calling on the waves Through the veil of old Japan..
Sister of the seas Wrapped in silken robes Waves are falling at her feet... Play your haunted songs to charm the dragon king, Winds are calling out your name...
When the sun sets over cherry blossom skies And the twilight fills the air You can see the snow on the mountain tops Through the veil of old Japan... Through the veil of old Japan will appear our Benzai-ten...

My Favourite lyrics:
Band: Berri Txarrak Song: Libre -------------------------------------------------------------- Beitu, zenbatu, gehitu ondokoak baino mugikor txikiago bat ondokoak baino titi handiagoak ondokoak baino kotxe azkarrago bat ondokoak baino modelo berriago bat ezin esan, ezin egin ezin pentsa, ezin senti dena da hemen debekugai
Aske zarete, libre © zuen kaiola erraldoietan dena eros daiteke zuen kaiola erraldoietan hala ere kexu zara zure kaiola erraldoi horretan katez alda dezakezue zuen kaiola erraldoietan
Beitu, zenbatu, gehitu ondokoak baino mozkor luzeago bat atzokoa baino saio kutreago bat atzokoa baino kantu errezago bat ondokoak baino gerri argalago bat
ezin esan, ezin egin ezin pentsa, ezin senti dena da hemen debekugai
Aske zarete, libre © zuen kaiola erraldoietan...
Beitu, zenbatu, gehitu...
Mundua obratan dago baina guk ez dugu ezer apurtu eta euria ari du, baina guk ez dakigu nork eta haizea haserre dago, baina ez dakigu norekin eta itsasoa? itsasoa ere haserre dago eta izen pare bat okurritzen zaizkit baina isildu egingo naiz demokraziaren izenean
Aske zarete, libre ©... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Look, count, add A cell-phone smaller than the ones around you Boobs bigger than the ones around you A car faster than the ones around you A model newer than the ones around you
Don't say, don't do anything Don't think, don't feel Everything can be banned here
You are free, free in your huge cages You can buy anything you want in you huge cages And you still complain You can change the chain in your huge cages
Look, count, add Drunkenness bigger than the ones around you A TV show coarser than yesterday's A song easier than yesterday's A waist narrower than the ones around you
Don't say, don't do anything, don't think, don't feel Everything can be banned here
You are free © in your huge cages...
Look, count, add...
The world is under construction, but we didn't break anything And it rains, but we don't know who And the wind looks angry, but we don't know with whom And the sea? The sea is also angry And it comes to my head a couple of names But I won't shut up in the name of the "democracy"
You are free © in your huge cages... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This song is in Euskera (Basque)

If anyone can find the lyric of 'Rise', please post it!!! We don't post 'Klaani lyrics here, because you can get them by buying their CD:s. Estonian band Tharaphita has a good line in their lyrics: Ära sülita kaevu, kaevy kust jood. Nii vabatahtlikult orjaks end teed. In English it would be something like: "Don't spit in the well, well from which you're drinking. Otherwise you free-willingly make yourself a slave."

And to get back on topic...
Kate Bush - Army Dreamers
"B.F.P.O.*" Army dreamers. "Mammy's hero." "B.F.P.O." "Mammy's hero."
Our little army boy Is coming home from B.F.P.O. I've a bunch of purple flowers To decorate a mammy's hero.
Mourning in the aerodrome, The weather warmer, he is colder. Four men in uniform To carry home my little soldier.
"What could he do? Should have been a rock star." But he didn't have the money for a guitar. "What could he do? Should have been a politician." But he never had a proper education. "What could he do? Should have been a father." But he never even made it to his twenties. What a waste -- Army dreamers. Ooh, what a waste of Army dreamers.
Tears over a tin box. Oh, Jesus Christ, he wasn't to know, Like a chicken with a fox, He couldn't win the war with ego.
Give the kid the pick of pips, And give him all your stripes and ribbons. Now he's sitting in his hole, He might as well have buttons and bows.
Ooh, what a waste of all that Army dreamers, Army dreamers, Army dreamers, oh...
No harm heroes.

Remembering the "we do not post lyrics here" issue. Isn't it a bit exaggerated to forbid posting Klaani lyrics in at least a Korpiklaani related Forum? And besides, aren't the lyrics sometimes the key to get into music more than getting into it first by listening? I guess at least here it should be allowed to inform others about the lyrics if eg.someone is interested and maybe likes to quote his or her favourite band. Furthermore this would be helpful for those which cannot afford to buy the CD's or have no access to buy them or whatsoever. I guess herra Virva should not be too strict with everything Believe me, the Klaani CD's are bought, I guess even more now after the Gig on the Wacken Open Air.
