On monday evening I went to watch The Corpse Bride and well, it just blow me out, I loved it!!!! Despite the fact of being a film for any kind of public and people, from children to small-brained ape-like mechanics, it's a lovely story that will make you think you've spend your money for sdomething good. You'll have a grin on your face during the whole film. Aside of that, the moovie is beautifully done, with some spectacular images and great scenes. Even though I don't like this taste for music that Tim Burton has lately developed on his films, I can say that the songs in this late one are not so out of place as in "Charlie", on this film the songs fit perfectly. The character of Victor is really great! YOu want it to be your friends, and the Corpse Bride is definitely lovely, from the begining to the end, with that naive point that makes her so sweet... perfect. It's a great film, just go and watch it with an open mind. Just one thing I didn't like, the end, I would have preffered another one. Totaly agree. Did you see Burton's first short-movie called "Vincent"? it is wonderfull, must see. You can download it, or watch it on the Nightmare Before Christmas dvd, in the "extra"-s

It's funny but I've only admired Burton since I saw Big Fish two years ago (it was two years ago? Don't remember, sorry); I had never been his follower before, even though I had liked very much "Edward" or "Sleepy Hollow". I remember I hated his version of the planet of the apes, and never had any curiosity to see Nightmare before Christmas. But when I saw Big Fish I was absolutely blown by the film, and I rearrenged my schemes about Burton... so much that I try to go to his new films on their first week at cinema. I had been wondering lately about if I should get "Nightmare", but if now you say it has his first film, I'll definitely try to get it!!!! Thanks very much!!!!

Saw Kingdom of Heaven on DVD recently. Quite good actually, although Orlando Bloom still makes me cringe a bit

I kinda have the same oppinion. funny that in the film, the Bulgarians were almost equal to the Russians ;D (notice that Dumbledore said: "sons of far north"...Bulgaria isn't thaaat north )
