Somebody has seen Discovering Neverland? My mate at work has seen it and told me it was a great movie, but she said the same about Bridget Jones 2...

Not recent, but very recently discovered by me.
Does anyone know "Eric the Viking' by Monty Python? (Not to be confused with 'Eric the halibut, or Eric the half-bee' ;D ;D )
I thought I knew all Monty Python movies. I was searching for Terry Jones' medieval times series (great series, but I don't have time to watch it on tv), when I bumped into this movie. Seen a third of it, looks good!! (like all Monty Python movies imo)

Does anyone know "Eric the Viking' by Monty Python? I've got it as a DVD. Although it's directed by Terry Jones and he as well as John Cleese are acting in it, it's certainly not a Monty Python -film; a bit same as with certain other films in which only some of the people from the MP-group are involved, ie. Yellowbeard, Jabberwocky etc. Great films anyway.

On monday evening I went to watch The Corpse Bride and well, it just blow me out, I loved it!!!! Despite the fact of being a film for any kind of public and people, from children to small-brained ape-like mechanics, it's a lovely story that will make you think you've spend your money for sdomething good. You'll have a grin on your face during the whole film. Aside of that, the moovie is beautifully done, with some spectacular images and great scenes. Even though I don't like this taste for music that Tim Burton has lately developed on his films, I can say that the songs in this late one are not so out of place as in "Charlie", on this film the songs fit perfectly. The character of Victor is really great! YOu want it to be your friends, and the Corpse Bride is definitely lovely, from the begining to the end, with that naive point that makes her so sweet... perfect.
It's a great film, just go and watch it with an open mind. Just one thing I didn't like, the end, I would have preffered another one.

Pulp Fiction "Who is Zed?" "Zed is dead." I love that movie. On Halloween Night I watched the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Despite the crappy production and lighting, it wasn't that bad. I really enjoyed it.

I saw Match Point on tuesday. Lately Woody Allen is filming a great myriad of films. Though I preffer most the precedent one, Melinda & Melinda, this Match Point is quite a great film. Allen let comedy aside and writes a dramatic film in which he puts over the table a debate about luck. I can't talk much about the film, 'cos I could reveal some important details and ruin your watching, but believe me, it's kinda worthy the film; only have in mind that this is not a typical Allen's film

Since I saw "Lord of the rings" no other movie could really impress me since then. I really wish to see another good new movie soon, but there`s nothing in sight, I´m afraid.

That depends on the kind of cinema you like. I liked a lot the LOTR trilogy, but as time passes I find myself less impressed by films heavily loaded special effects, and at the same time I feel that true cinema lies on good stories. Just in a first thought I can tell you films that were much greater then LOTR, as could be M;illion Dollar Baby, Melinda & Melinda, Sideways, or lately Match Point. But I insist, it depends on the kind of cinema you like, probably you'll think that those films are boring
