I have to add something to the list of favourite albums: POROPETRA!real great music! Beautifull, you all should listen to the samples on their site, click on TUOTOKSET (what does this mean? Products or so?) and than you will see the familiar looking words txt and mp3. Click on it and listen! GRRREEEAAAT MUSIC!

- TUOTOKSET (what does this mean? Products or so?) Yes, it means products. There you can find a Poropetra discography. I'm working on with the new Poropetra website. It'll be in Finnish and in English. We are recording new material. I hope that we'll get the work done by summer. Experimental, progressive, heavy and yet even more traditional kantele and throat-singing music is expected!! ;D ;D

I downloaded some samples of Yat-Kha. Some of those are really great, but I do not like 'Carry me through'(t.i. I like the singing, but not the very popular sounding music). I like Teve Khaia, Oi Moroz and Oy Adym. I'd like to know which album I could buy best.
I also found a song called 'To', in which a singer called Sainkho Namtchylak performs, amazing! Any advice on her (traditional) music wanted!

I'd like to know which album I could buy best. I would recommend this Aldyn Dashka -CD at first; it's the most traditional of them all as far as I've understood. Perhaps herr Holtiton could answer to all this better and more detailed because of having got more of the bands albums.
