Greetings mann! My name is Aaron, and I'm from Budapest, Hungary. I've been listenin' to folk/pagan bands like Moonsorrow, Finntroll, Windir, Thyrfing, Otyg, Primordial, Enslaved, and so on for a while, but I've discovered a few months ago, and it totaly blew me away. I'm currently studying art, at a local high school, and in my free time I play in a Finntroll, Skyclad, and Korpiklaani tribute band, called TündérDombok (ElvenHills) Really great!! Tribute...Awesome! Welcome! Also to all other new members!

Thanx mann...we have a couple of our own songs recorded, but the quality is quite bad, and it's on tape...so if we can record somethin' between normal contitions, I'll send you some, if intrested... of course mann First let me congratulate for startin' hungarian...it's even hard for me to learn First: Csak egy kicsit beszélek magyarul (you don't need to put "Én" in it mann) Second: Kantelén játsszom (you have to wite it this way, don't ask me why, it's one of the most anti-logic languages) So here ya go! Good luck with studyin' it

Thanks for you correcting me. It's important to me to know, that I do right in my language studies. I corrected the text and it looks like this now: Jó estét kívánok és isten hozott!
Csak egy kicsit magyarul beszélek. Most tanúlok magyarul. Én Helsinkiban élek és kantelét játsszom. Persze, szeretek sört inni!I've been interested in about Finno-Ugric languages all my life. I study Estonian as my main subject in Helsinki University (I started this year, but I've lived and studied Estonian earlier in Estonia itself, so I can already speak Estonian almost as my second native language..). Now I started my Hungarian lessons and next year I'm gonna start with North-Sámi (Hungarian and Sámi are going to be my side-subjects). Thanks! Our Hungarian teacher said the same for me today (she is native Hungarian) as I returned my short writing in Hungarian. There were only two errors in it..

It's funny, cuz I'm gonna start learnin' finnish in November (I've studied swedish since, but I can speak only a bit). My English teacher who is a great Korpiklaani and Therion fan has lived in Finnland for 5 years, so he's gonna teach me

Oh man.. I would never dare learning finnish...first because I have a leck of time and second because it's just too difficult Anyway, I am satisfied with my knowledge as far as languages are concerned: German, Polish, English, French, Spanish written and spoken, Latin and Russian just written. And: Even though I don't speak Finnish or Sewdish, I know "Trollhammaren" and "Nattfödd" by Finntroll, "Mjölnir" and "Dryckesväde" of Thyrfing and "Kädet Siipinä" by heart, or, let's ay I can sing along ^^

Hey folks, check this band out, it's worthwhile! Certainly no offence to anybody, but at this point it IMHO sounds just like all the other bands that have got influenced and inspired by the Finnish "well-known" bands like Ensiferum, Finntroll, Moonsorrow and co. Naturally I understand that the samples were just demo material and much in this band seems to be somewhat in its beginning, as well as I of course understand that it's always cool to get inspired in usual and make music right after that just to have fun and so on, but still: we've got this kind of bands about 13 in a dozen nowadays, and at least I don't get very happy or pleased to hear another of these after another all the time. However, let's hope that the band shall still develop it's expression further and find it's own direction and form as the time passes and things get clearer along with the age and experience. all the best, :: Pekka Aho, kantele player and runo-singer, metal music since '89 EDIT: Warmly welcome to the new members anyway, cheers!

This is something that happens cyclically in the rock world, a new style is born, for a year and a half it's something new, but later on a lot of bands begin to do the same, so three or four years later you've got a lot of band playing the same; that's what happened with power metal, there were Helloween, Rage and Gamma Ray, and after those bands a lot of photocopies that had nothing new to offer, and which in my oopinion do nothing but saturate the scene. It's ok to feel inspired, all of us have our heroes that we want to emulate, but each new band must find its own touch, its own new ingredient to make the old dish of rock
