i think ice-hockey or, better yet, hurling would be a good sport for the klan... oh, nay, wait, i've got it:
football match like in medieval times... something like a ball, all village (preferably a finnish one in the middle of the woods ;D) for the playground, everything allowed (ok, according to the penal-law of the country... or not ;D) and brew instead of fancy energizer for players!
how about it?

i doubt that Monty Python ever made anything that could've been considered bad, yet alone worst... how do you define worst in brilliance? it is the Meaning Of Life i love the most, and Life Of Brian, plus a fuckload of series' episodes
btw. what do they have to do with the new Korpiklaani album? besides brilliance and utter craziness ;D ?

6. Native land The accordion is an interesting solution to this song. Although I don't like accordion myself so much, it doesn't disturb me at all in this song. The lyrics are once again naive, but the song itself is nice. (I'm not a Finntroll fan anymore) indeed, the lyrics remind me of old communist songs we used to sing as pioneers in Yugoslavia (underage party members like in the USSR) ;D (why not? music? or something else?)

just for the record - polka is Polish folk music - at least in original (Germans... think they own everything... just like the nonsense about "indo-germanic" (as they call it) language group... tsk tsk tsk... their national anthem speaks for itself) ;D

An absolute must-have for all fans of folk- and humppa-metal a la Finntroll, everyone else should at least have a listen (at the record store and not over eDonkey!).

Unfortunately I don´t know the books you mentioned (exept Tolkien and Sherlock Holmes of course). I have only read german books (or german translations of the books) in my life so my favourite writers are: Wolfgang Hohlbein Erich Fried Marion Zimmer Bradley Ingeborg Bachmann and Arthur Rimbaud. Probably you won´t know any of them! i know of Rimbaud. except of Paasilinna my other faves would be: Gabriel Garcia Marquez (100 Years of Solitude, The General in his own Labyrinth) Umberto Eco (The Name of the Rose, Baudolino) Henry Miller (most stuff, except Opus Pistorum, that one is TOO much ) JRR Tolkien (of course) Guy Gavriel Kay (Fionnavar Tapestry, Tigana, etc)
