A kantele instrumental version of "Karjalan kunnailla", a traditional finnish song. I'd love to have this with lyrics as well...

Lasse Mårtenson - Myrskyluodon Maija Awesome finnish instrumental oldie, one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. There are plenty of old finnish songs I'd love to hear again, but unfortunately they are recorded pretty rarely nowadays and those records are hard to get since they aren't too mainstream

Proteus - Frozen flame
I'm really not sure about the subgenres of electronic music, so let's just say it's some awesome TECHNO! ;D

Dragonforce - Fury of the storm
One of the very few power metal bands I like. Most of power metal is really boring IMO, but the insane playing skills of these guys make this really enjoyable. Can't wait to see them at Tuska again, the gig I saw few years ago was awesome.

Flogging Molly - Queen Anne's revenge Irish folk rock with piratey themed songs. If this doesn't get you in good mood then nothing does ....that description sounded SO like something that emo punk kids would love. Luckily this band is pretty far from anything related to them. The Pogues meets 'klaani could be more accurate

Hans Zimmer - POTC Dead Man's Chest OST - Wheel Of Fortune. This man is a genious, who wouldn't like to write music like he does, I envy him xD Agreed. Is it just me, or can you really tell from his music when he's been really interested in it and when he has done it only for the money? I mean, if you compare his orchestral stuff (THe Rock, Dead Man's Chest, King Arthur...) to some other music he has composed, they seem to have WAY more emotion and passion in them. Anyway, I really love all that pompous soundtrack music ;D np. Hans Zimmer - The Rock OST - Rock House Jail

Finntroll used music from monkey island for their latest album Well, no. The intro of the song En Mäktig Här was just REALLY similiar. That song rules btw, really insane ;D np. Manowar - Gods Of WarI think I have posted this song elarlier in this thread, but can't help it. If someones can ever capture MANLINESS, WAR, BARBARISM and TRIUMPH in a song, it certainly is Manowar. I can't say what song would be the best one ever, but this one certainly is a nominee.

Listening Flogging Molly again Flogging Molly - Tobacco Isn't that "Tobacco Island"? Flogging Molly are awesome indeed, I'm pretty sure that if one likes Korpiklaani, he / she can't hate Flogging Molly either ;D np. Witchery - The Reaper - Awesome swedish thrash, featuring some The Haunted members. The first few albums are almost out of this world, but unfortunately the new stuff can't reach even a half of the intensity their music used to have

Domine - The Aquilonia Suite
The theme from Conan The Barbarian put into power metal. Unlikely I thought, this works pretty well but would be maybe even better without the lyrics. NEVER write lyrics when covering an instrumental song.

Manowar - Gods of warSimply one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Really epic, massive mid-tempo piece from the upcoming album which is released tomorrow. Call me a freak, but during the past few years Manowar has grown to be almost a religion to me Hail GODS OF WAR! Manowar - Sons of Odin"Now, gods and men, they rose up from the ground screaming like wild animals! Such is the gift of absolute power! No blade or weapon could harm them, they killed men and horses alike and all who stood before them died that day! HAIL, GODS OF WAR!!"
That explains all neccessary. I get chills every time

!6 Horsepower - ShametownI possibly couldn't have found this band in a more unlikely way: I was watching TV about a week ago and there was this document about the Southern States of USA. The document was mainly about the people who either were drunk from morning to noon or then hailing Jesus and almost killing each other in his name. Anyway, there was a part about the local musicians and the founder of 16 Horsepower was playing some song acoustically and walking in the bayou (spelling?). I liked the stuff from the first note I heard, and after that document I instantly came to my computer and went to MySpace. Who could have believed that I would ever give a SERIOUS listening to a music written by extreme pro-christians?

Maybe our allmighty moderator Nordi will come and lock it.And maybe he will ban me because of the "sexiest guy of Korpiklaani"-thread. If you're asking for it. I was bound to lock that thread, actually he lock all posts ppl do? Yes, I'm big, evil and spooky. Beware!
