And Jonne... Portuguese is not only spoken in Brasil, but, go figure, in Portugal too!!!! This reminds me about what one airhead said once in the imperiumi.net's message board: "I'd like to learn Brasilian! And the Mexican language sounds cool too!" ;D hey why don't we rebel and we make the forum Spanish? ..because you'd get the Spanish inquisition after you in no time.

What can I say but... typical....
If you'd know how many times I get the "Portugal? Isn't that in Spain somewhere?" sentence... O'well... conditions of living in a tiny country.

Inquisition? As El Godo says, the only one church that lights is the one that burns. We Spanish say that 'cos not so long ago we were into a repressive gobernment which was almost a puppet of the church; so many of us in fact do hate everything related to the church And of course we are ashamed (at least I am) of all those crimes that inquisition commited. The sentence that El Godo has written deals with this supposed statement that claimed that the church was the one that was in possession of the truth, and that they share this truth with humanity. So when the Spanish Civil War, in many places where the Republicans were rulling, they burnt churches, killed bishops and priests, raped nuns etc etc, and the sentence comes from that time, and survived all through Franco's repression. That's the meaning of the sentence ;D Sorry for this improvised class of Spanish History

No, not that Spanish inquisition. I ment our own Spanish inquisition, which will persecute people who speak Spanish in the board. I hope i didn't hurt anyone's anti-religious feelings.

Inquisition? As El Godo says, the only one church that lights is the one that burns. How's that in Spanish, so I can truly understand the whole meaning of it? "La unica iglesia que ilumina es una que arde"?? Anyway, we wen't through the same religious domination here in Portugal and after the revolution it was drastically changed. However, it is now gaining a whole new strength again because of the parties in government... O'well... we live in completely backward and ultra-conservative countries, morally speaking, wether we like it or not...

I doubt that being Spanish, the inquisicion of anybody don't persecutes me, and if they persecute me I skin the head to them. The religion in my country has marked a line of blood...if I have ofend to somebody, pleasy sorry me, above all I am Spanish and I know what is all this... Saludos a todo los españoles... ;D
