I've flown Ryanair a few times. You have to buy your own food, but my flights were only an hour long so that didn't bother me. I don't know what you mean by "good", I don't know their safety record, but I made it home both times alive!

I think Ryanair is good enough especially for that price, what can you expect for a return flight that costs 40 euros? I've never flown on Ryanair, but I will in a few months. If they just get us and our luggage to Ireland and back in somewhat according to the schedule, it does for me. I think I can survive 5 hours without a meal and some movie

Donald Duck and some Mr Bean ;D... But that was Transavia... I'd like to go to some Folk music festival in Budapest next year, and then back via Slovakia for some trips. Like Spišský hrad to buy a new nice bow. And the Mala Fatra mountains... I have to pass the top of the Velky Rozsutec once!!!

So one of the countries I wanted to go to still before I have a look to the world from below I have been to now, namely Iceland. In fact I noticed that it isn't my country at all, even though it sure was interesting to see a fair bit of it. I was asked today what I actually liked most about it and what I disliked the most, I said that I simply can't cope with having nothing which rudimentally would look like a forest (there was this one joke... "what should you do if you get lost in a forest in Iceland? - Get up and look around"), in summer there's actually way too many tourists and the weather in general requires a bit getting used to (to not say it is usually horrible ;D). However, it is fascinating that there's a place belonging to Europe which is really that utterly lonely like I have seen it in Iceland, if you leave Reykjavík you surely see more sheep than houses or people. Some photos from the trip: s14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/Sockennasenelch/Island/?action=view¤t=DSCN00671.jpg (what looks like a city is Reykjavík, the rest somewhere else in the west, north or south)

Wow, some really beautiful places there I wouldn't mind to visit Iceland one day as well. Ahhh, only few weeks left to our trip to the green isle! After tens of changes, the route is now Killarney-Cork-Cashel-Dublin. If anyone knows any prehistoric or medieval sites that are a in a 10km diameter from the center of those cities and towns, please let me know. Castles we have mapped out already by ourselves, so I'm looking more for dolmens, erected stones and such

hi!!!!! Maybe I will go to Finland in Tampere. On RyanAir siteweb, I found return ticket for 40 euros.... it's not expensive. But I don't know if Ryanair is a good company. www.blue1.fi/en/when fozz and i where looking to go over this was about the cheepest site we could find other than wanting to go on some cross dimensional shift to the lands that apear in some of my favorite books, or back in time to a century where i think i would be of more use Fozz and i often go on trips and little mini adventures, and have been some truly beautiful (and some times some dangerous and silly, albeit fun places ) places, and are always looking for the next big trip... or missadventure Last september we where going to go on an epic trip to finland, but unfortunatly time and money where against us... we where off in search of the northern lights, and to scope out where fozz wants to move to. Personaly i think i would just like to be moneterily sound enough to packup and move on where ever i wanted without the guilt of 'abandoning' my parents, work etc... we have a plan, to one day when fozz has his driving liscence, to buy a big 4x4, pack it with suplies and just set off and see where the road takes us... the only pre-requsit is a lottery win after me buying a model boat, we decided to build a full scale 3 man viking longship to sail ... not as a hobby but as a prototype for a 30man crewed ship to sail form where i live round the coast of england/scotland... following the route the vikings took on their first landing on the english coast. the plans have been drawn and set all we need do now is to beg borrow cheet and steal the lumber for the prototype. we have all thease mad little dreams about grand adventures.. but can only offord little ones... which although only last a few days make up the most memorable few years of my life

My friend and I want to make one epic trip from where she lives, Newfoundland, Canada (and see the viking settlement in L'Anse aux Meadows along the way) to Greenland, Iceland, the Faroes, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland (I think there was a couple side stops to the Netherlands and germany as well). A biigg trip and trying to do it cheap (camping etc mostly). hopefully we can pull it off!

I don't know when I posted here the last time, but if I now should say where I want to go to still I'd say mostly the Faroes, maybe also Greenland sometime, and Scotland again (have been there a couple of years ago and it's really a beautiful country). Then if it comes to destinations within the country I definitely have to go to Utsjoki before I die, probably should also stop by Inari sometime, Kolari as it happens to be the northernmost point of what you can reach by usual trains here, and Oulainen. Mostly I get asked about why the hell I want to go to Oulainen but that's just kind of a general obsession with this place that arose from the thing that a person I know accidently got off there instead of Oulu sometime as the name sounded so similar, and then he had to take a 100 euros taxi ride to Oulu from there (as it is about 100 km south of Oulu) ;D It's a must going there at some point.
