I really want to see Machu Picchu some day... I'm going there next summer You should be quick though, they're thinking of shutting the place down from tourists since the ground and ruins aren't so stable anymore..

I would love to go to Finland for the Tuska festival, but airfare from here to there is insanely expensive. Does anyone have any ideas for getting there more cheaply, by chance?
There are a lot of other places I'd love to go see in the world. Pretty much every continent has something I'd love to look at in person. Pyramids, the Andes, the landscape of New Zealand, southern Europe, fjords, birds in the Faroes, the Great Wall, etc. Where I live seriously lacks trees that are larger than a bush on steroids, so anywhere with trees would be nice. It's pretty enough here in some areas, though. I like going on Google Earth and seeing what pictures people post from remote areas.

It would take too much time to list all the places I'd like to go At the moment I'm hoping a friend's friend will go working in China, so I could take advantage of her hospitality and pay for the flights only I worked there few months years ago and it would be great to see how everything has changed...

Some places I'd really like to see would be Norway, Japan and Jamaica. Actually Scandinavia in general would be amazing. There are a lot of places I'd like to see though; the list is wayyy too long

Guys, fancy finding this topic here. My fiancé and myself are trying to decide where to go on honeymoon. We want to ski, so options are either going to Canada, or skiing in Lapland or Norway.
I know there is resorts in Canada, and there are package trips to Lapland, but how is the skiing there? We do alpine skiing, not cross-country by the way. But I am going to get a day off alpine to try cross country, always wanted to!
Personally, I fancy Lapland more, but maybe I am biased.

Hey guys, i invite all of you to come to the biggest trumpet festival in the world that's taking place in Gucha, Serbia, in August every year. I was there last summer for the first time and it was the best time of my life, no bullshitting.. .. Have a little peak in these videos..it's just madness, it's indescribable.. A half of million people from all around the world visited it in 2008. The trumpets never stop, all night, all day, with thousands of gallons of beer and rakija (schnaps).. Some of the vids are from 2007, and some from '08. Enjoy...

Hmm, when I was younger I wanted to travel around the Mediaterraen Sea. Now I think that trios to Egypt, Greece etc. are IMO so overrated. Not that I don't like these countries, but honestly I'm winterlover. I always wanted to go to Japan. I just like it, maybe because of the level of development of various technologies. Also I like forests, so Finland would be my #2 country. I forgot about Norway and Faroe Islands. Love them too

I would like to travel to the depths of Russian land, because we have really beautiful nature here... Else, i'd choose Finland - for the nature, too; and Karelia - it's a very mystic place, full of ancient wisdom. Maybe Norway would be the point, too. And, of course, the Eastern Europe. I can travel everywhere - but I really don't like going to the sea with my family, it's really boring, when for two or more weeks you have nothing to do but lying on a beach, sleeping or swimming - there's usually no Russian-speakers except us, and other tourists are really boring. I love journeys, but going with parents to the sea is not a journey for me - but going with friends to a open-air metal fest in a near town is a journey, of course...
