I use DR strings.. they are great for the light top and heavy bottom feel. At the moment, I like to play Metallica, Iron Maiden and some more challenging things such as Children of Bodom and atm Ozzy's 'Crazy Train'.

Weeee, I got my new flute today! I tried out 7 different ones and decided to take a Yamaha flute (maybe it felt most comfortable to play that one because my first flute is from Yamaha, too...?). Well, it was the one most expensive, my teacher told me after I had decided... ;D

I've played the trumpet for years... I seem to be able to play most kinds of flute quite well... never did anything with it and I only got a tin whistle at home... but through friends I've played quite some diff. kinds of flutes... mostly got a tune out of em. And I try to play some keyboards... but seeing i lack one i only get a chance very occasionaly...
Only thing I'm really good at was the trumpet... the rest were just experiments which are fun ^^ Somehow i can never push myself to do more than the basics... tried it for 8 years with my trumpet ^^ after I quit that never picked up anything again seriously...
Somehow I wanna try to play bagpipes one day!
But never played in any sort of band or anything...

I'm learning to play classic guitar, but I have a electric guitar too. I've got my electric guitar for eight months, and classic guitar for...eight weeks ;D

Somehow I wanna try to play bagpipes one day! Bagpipes are great! My best friend has been playing bagpipes for some years and I've tried to play on her bagpipe (well, first of course on her practise chanter). It was pretty difficult because I'm so used to my flute and whistle technique and it was hard to find out the right breathing technique (well, I haven't found it yet ). But nevertheless it's very cool ;D

To me Kukeko, this druns and percussions have the Spirit Of The Forest. I feel it. My instrument is Keyboard (7 years playing). I like to create Folk Metal musics with accordeon keyboard's voice. Korpiklaani and Turisas songs inspire me to create musics when I play them songs.

I play this: (And also the didgeridoo, not featured on this picture) And I'm constantly trying to learn new/special instruments. Presently my grandfather is building me a hurdy-gurdy, which I'm véry eager to learn. Also, I want to learn the bagpipes a.s.a.p. for I've always loved that instrument. By the way, who can guess all the instruments on the photo? If you'd like to hear some of these instruments played by me, most of them are featured on "The Minstrel Muse", my oneman folkrock project. There's a video on youtube of the first "finished" real folk song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPyjwvlmNQ4I've also made an intro/outro, but those are more ambient sounding, they're on my Last.fm page: last.fm/music/The+Minstrel+Muse

Hi Tom, nice to see you're back. Nice collection of instruments that you have I listened to all three songs on Last.fm. I like them, especially your 'with trees' (The river bank) sounds cool We will meet at graspop, and stand both in the first row!!

I've played piano for about 6 years but I'm still not very good. The thing that's keeping me from taking music "seriously" is my inability to play in public. With piano I shake so bad I can't even hit the right notes. Strangely, I have no problem with singing.
Also I had an ocarina, but I accidentally broke it. :C And my brother took my bass and acoustic guitar (that were originally his anyway)
