I don't think I have answered this thread yet, so I'll do it now.
The piano, my main instrument.
I've played it for almost 10 years now and playing it is one of my biggest passions in life. I mainly play classical stuff, and I like playing romantic music where you can use great changing in volume and tone (what's the real expression for this you piano people?).
Baroc music is great while developing technique, but I think it soon gets boring because of its "mechanical" way to play it. You'll have to play the notes as exact as you can and that's it. Not much room for putting something your own there.
But back to the real matter of discussion.
The second one, which I consider almost as important as the piano, is the keyboard.
I just love playing wild, fast stuff after concentrating really hard with the piano and the classical pieces of music. The ability to play really fast and exact is one goal of mine. And I'm slowly reaching it, I hope so.
I'll be the next female-Janne Warman . At least I hope to get as good as he.
I have also played the guitar for few years, but it did not addict me as badly as the instruments mentioned above and I haven't been playing the guitar for a while now.
I would love to learn to play the accordion and the bass (unfortunately my cousin plays the bass, he's really good at it, and so it would be a bit stupid if I started playing it. But every time we play at school I am playing the bass and that's only because we have only 3 people in our class, who can play something (me and my 2 friends, who play the drums and the guitar) and I know the basics of playing the bass.)
Ok I think I've finished now. Some of this may be a bit off-topic, sorry.
